So what if I'm not the sharpest spoon in the drawer?

  • Mood:
  • Music: Panic! at the Disco
  • Reading: The Kite Runner, Ink Exchange

Have you ever seen a movie or read a book where this wise, old, sage-like character tells this really long story about something that happened tells a childhood story and all the other characters think it's just a bunch of worthless nonscence from a crazy old kook but then something happens and the main character realises that the story was full of metaphores and sybolism and use their knewly aquired knowledge to come to some vital desistion and then goon to save the world? Anyway, this is one of the those stories:

"If I lived back in the wild west days, instead of carrying a six-gun in my holster, I'd carry a soldering iron. That way, if some smart-aleck cowboy said something like "Hey, look. He's carrying a soldering iron!" and started laughing, and everybody else started laughing, I could just say, "That's right, it's a soldering iron. The soldering iron of justice." Then everybody would get real quiet and ashamed, because they had made fun of the soldering iron of justice."
(written by Jack Handey http://www.brainofbrian.com/philosophies3.html)

Eye opening isin't it?

Bubble's Supper-Dopper Magical Quiz:

A) Yes, that was very eye opening
B) errr...I'm sure I figure it out in time
C) WTF!
D) No seriously, WTF!!!!!!!! Why have you just added a studpid random quiz here?!?!?!?!?!
Z) CHICKEN DIPPERS!!!!

Anyway on a more serious note (also from http://www.brainofbrian.com/philosophies3.html) you really shouldn't laugh when you see an old lady who slips and falls on the street, because what if you were an ant and she feel on you? How would you feel then?

Anywhooo.....I recon I should stat posting some lists on here lists on always fun....I think I might post on for my next bloggy post, but what it will be on no one knows (exept me, who does know).

But for anyone who's ever seen "The Number 23" you need to watch this (and watch it anyway, even if you haven't seen it):

A) Do they really all add up to 47?
B) I don't get it
C) LOL
D) I refuse to watch such a stupid video!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Z) I SEE DEAD PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyway, regarding my last post...I managed to find a new background. it looks EXACTLY like my old background but it's brand new. I swear!!!

And I can not wait for NANOWRIMO, it's going to be so AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!

Hehe...I think this blog has been a lot crazier than usual. I sould probably wind it up early. Even though I have a very important topic to talk about, I'll just save it for next time....
But before I go I think two more question are in order (plus the results of course):

What do you think of this blog???

A) It was very inspiring
B) This post was a lot more insane then usual
C) It's awesome!
D) WORDS CAN NOT EXPRESS THE ANGER I FEEL WHEN READING THIS BLOG!!!!!!!!!
Z)  The dog ate my homework

And what expresion sums up how your feeling:

A)
B)
C)
D)
Z)

RESULTS:

If you got mostly A's:
You'll proably need to see a psychiatrist, just show them this blog and I'm sure they'll be able to prescribe something to help control those nightmares.

If you got mostly B's
I'm sorry to be the barerer os such bad news, but it has to be said. The results have come in and you appear to be sane. I'm sorry.

If you got mostly C's
HI EMMA!!!!!
(If your name is not Emma then Contradulations you just won an invisible/mute goat!!! It will arive in your letterbox in 2-3 working days).

If you got mostly D's
Jeez, I know your angry but there's no need for such execive puncuation, now is there?

If you got mostly Z's
Ah, you are clealy a deeply intellectual indiviual, a logian, and a hero among men. You will go far.

If you got a mixture of answers
I belive you should go eat a grilled cheese sandwitch. Right Nw. Your life may depend on it! Unless you are allergic to cheese/lactose intolerent/vegan/etc. In which case, whatever you do, DO NOT EAT THAT SANDWITCH!!!!

Wait...let me just check my pulse....Nope! I'm not dead!

  • Mood: Like I just ate chocolate - Oh wait, I did!
  • Music: Goldfrapp
  • Reading: Nanny Ogg's Cookbook
Haha! Nope, like the title said, I'm not dead! Despite sooooo many things that have been happening!!!!!! But I really can't be bothered to list all of them because I'm pretty sure my head would implode, and the most exciting thing of all I'm not even telling people (with a few exeptions), in fact, the only way I really could describe it is: "!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" since it's far to exciting to put into words.

Anyway I haven't been posting for a number of reasons; the main one being my computer freezes half the time I copy and paste things, which is super annoying.  Another reason is because I've been uber (  I hate that word - it just dosen't sound right) busy and, of course, just down to plain lazieness....

Anyway time for a song I think:

I think I might have posted this one before but it's such an awesome song!

But now, today is a very sad day indeed. For today is the day we say goodbye to the blinding checkerboard background which once made this blog a very excrushiating, yet striking, place to read my rambalings. But as one door closes another one most open and we most welcome a new background to host this er...delightful  blog on (once I find one of course )

Wow. I should be a eugoogolizer (see this video for more information: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9SKrGSW_zqU - it's at 54 seconds, I belive).

And since I'm feeling particulary deep at the moment I should quote something, since Emma quoted Shakespeare in her last post. I think I'll go for...."Take your aesthete's; taste purer things; kill them swiftly, if you will, but do it. For do not doubt: you are a killer"  *
Or even better yet the quote I had stuck in my head all of yesterday, "They know about us. They watch us dine on empty plates and drink from empty glasses." *

See! I can be deep!
....
What, you actaully wanted something meaningful? Pft! I rarely read meaningful things (or meaningful things that aren't written by Anne Rice).
....
Oh, fine! I'll find something meaningful!
....
Que Sera Sera. There. I'm done.
Oh, what? I supose you wanted it in English too! Well to bad**#

Okay, I really aught to stop talking to myself now.
Maybe it's time for some more music (and of course the music isn't to distract you from whatever it is I'm writing, what an outlandish nototion!):

Oh, I do love Adam and the Ants, so, and they have much better music than some of the junk people come up with today. (Rap = )

Anyway I supose I should be writing now....I've only got 4(!) more chapter to go on Thanks for the Memories, and the last 3 are very sad...I'll have to listen to some sad stuff before I right it, like this which I watched a little why ago and now everytime I here the song I think it's sad (even though it's not really it's just the show that is - also this paragraph makes no sense):

But before I go:
I'd like to say to everyone who reads this: Thanks, you guys rock! (Also, feel free to leave me a message so I know who all you guys are, if I don't already).
And on a more personal note: Jake, I do have twitter (the links up in the cornor of this page, under links) and your language is probably better than mine (and congrats on the book, btw).

Oh and by the way, you can now subscribe to this thing: theres a place to enter your email on right hand side of the screen.

Ta-ta for now!

* Both quotes from the movie, Interview with the Vampire.
** One of these videos holds the answer anyway.

Chuffed to Bits (aka High on Catnip)

  • Mood: Chuffed
  • Music: Vanessa Carlton
  • Reading: The Other Boleyn Girl / The Vampire Armand / The Feast of all Saints / The Magicians Apprentice / Skulduggery Series / Demonata Series

I never thougthI'd use the word 'chuffed' is such an eccentric word to me. But it's the only word that seems to describe how I'm feeling right now...      (...Okay that was a bit of a lie: pleased, happy, delighted, thrilled or gratified would have done as well).

Why?
Because.

Jacob  (who's owns "the 69th most popular Comedian's Channel on Youtube") left a very very kind comment here which was very very sweet of him; which means a lot to me since he is a very talented person himself.
I also found people were recomending some of my FF on the Vagabond Forums which natually made me very happy.
And then there's always people leaving very nice reviews on FF which just make my day...

AND OMG WHERE HAS MY CRAZED OBSESSIVE PSCYOPATHEC EVIL OVERLORD SIDE GONE?!?!?!?!?

It's because I'm wearing lots of make-up isin't it? (It was even professionly done !) or maybe it was our english lesson on Wednessday; we had to write a bunch of touchy-feely stuff (must of mine sounded pretty deppressing actually).

But as long as I'm complementing people I might as well as mention Wikkid who is an absoutly rockin' person and just for her I'd like to say:

 WARNING:
This blog is not spell-checked. Nor proof read or BETA'd.
It also contains large and unstable quantities of unrestrained hyperactivity,
A blinding background pattern,
And lost of super long, winding pointless posts, which change from topic to topic with no regard for the sanity of others.

The author of this blog is in no way proffesional and may in fact be slighly off- in-the-head, and therefore is in no way claiming resposibility for any damage caused by reading this blog (though she does send her most humble apoligies as well as a 'Get Well Soon' card and box of chocolates which seemed to have got lost in the post).

I know she mentioned a long while back I needed a warning of some sort (I can't remember exactlly what is was she said) so there it is.

I think it's time for a song, yes?

Which reminds me certain teacher ruined a certain song!
She played it in assembly and then in Maths and we could here her singing from down the corridor!
And maths that reminds me....Maths  Meg'll be the only one to get it. It was just so funny.

 J+R 4eva people!

You know what other subjects funny? Science. What are electrolytes? I don't know but they're exreamly awesome! What's Emma's real name? Emma , Hilarious!

Plus, you know what else makes me happy (besides Kool-aid)?
Creepy Writing! And Since it's the weekend I can stay up most of the night writing the nice fluffy-bunny corpse scences for FYH. I guess the only hard thing about it is thinking of a plot to fit all those corpses in....

I feel bad for the teachers who had to mark my coursework.

But you know whats annoying (besides all these rhetorical questions)?
I need 9 GCSE's to get into the Uni course I want and i'm only taking 8. I guess I'm just going to have to pretend my OCR National is the same thing and hope for the best (or I could go to a differnt school, of course). But I still have to get all of thse grades at a pass anyway. That means I'm actually going to have to try in school now... Damn.

Which brins up another intresting point. Hardly anyone will swear in my presence and if they do they almost always apoligise like a hundred times. It's very amusing actually. Beaucse every one thinks I'm a goody-two-shoes, but the phrase "it's always the quite ones" deffinetly applies in this case. And I do swear. When I write. In Spanish. Somethimes. Possibly....

Oh! And just before I go I'd like to mention; a while back Miss zotlot worked out (using the scientific methood of 'counting') my attention span to be a maximum of 27 seconds: TAKE THAT GOLDFISH!!!!!!!

Yum Cereal: A Riddle Wrapped in a Mystery Inside an Enigma rolled into a Twinkie

  • Mood: < Because I don't think 'glowy' is an emotion
  • Music: Leona Lewis (No Wait! I can Explain!)
  • Reading: The Other Boleyn Girl, The Vampire Armand, The Feast of all Saints

Happy Saint Caedwalla’s day for tomorrow!

And if you’re wondering St. Caedwalla is the patron Saint of Serial Killers.

(Well St. Nicolas is the patron saint of Pawnbrokers…and as the BBC website said at least now we know where all those toys come from….And if that’s not strange enough you’ve got the Saint of “those falsely accused of Cannibalism” or the “Really Ugly” or “Television” and there’s 4 saints for “those rejected by Monks and Nuns” and 16 for Bachelors…)

And since tomorrow is the feast day of the Patron St. of Serial Killers, it’s a strange coincidence it also happens to be Hitler’s birthday….

And someone else’s too….

I wonder if it’s lame to wish myself a Happy Birthday…?

Anyway, moving on, this is pretty much how April's gone so far:

Friday the 3rd, Went to Paris it was GREAT (but a lousy place to find out you’re prone to panic attacks)
Monday the 6th, Came back to find out Ash had died.
Tuesday the 7th, Zoe’s Bday
Thursday the 9th, Visited the RSPCA to find some cats (We literally can not live in a house without cats).
Saturday the 11th, Painted Easter eggs and had a hunt for them the next morning (managed to find one hidden on the ceiling*) Also went back to RSPCA shelter (this time we told my Dad).
Sunday the 12th, Helena came round and we celebrated “Zombie Jesus Day” (Twilight Fans: Click Here). Chocoholics Anonymous, anyone?
Monday the 13th, Went to Wales. Kayleigh’s Bday.
Tuesday the 14th, Dad’s Bday
Friday the 17th, Got two new cats.
Sunday the 19th, Got back from Wales.

Busy month anyone? And don’t even speak to me about Script Frenzy *epicfailure*
But the months not over yet…and I do have my reasons for not winning…and at least zotlot’s doing great, so not all is lost.

ARGH, my minds gone completely blank I’ll have to update again soon ‘cause I know I’m forgetting something…(Don’t worry I can update next week…I’ve only got exams…it’s not like I’m actually busy )
Which reminds me I’ve got homework…

Anyway:

PRESENTING:
MEG & FUDGE:
The Newest Members of my Family.

Oh I just remembered a bunch of things now! (That was going to be the end of my post):

I finished Memnoch the Devil!!!!!!!!!!! YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Onto the Vampire Armand!
I'm also reading another book by Anne Rice called 'The Feast of all Saint's' (and no it's nothing to do with the begining of this post)
Memnoch got a bit deep and some points (actually all Anne Rice's books are deep which is why it takes me forever to read them, being shallow) but a few phrases I just found really cool/wierd:

" 'War is magnificent to Him, and disease is like the color purple in His eyes, and self-sacrifice seems to Him a personal magnification of His Glory!' "

Okay, I know it's just going to be a really famous phrase or something, but honesly, Purple, why?

Anyway, Onto the 'Music' bit:
I don't really like Leona Lewis that much (don't get me wrong, she's a good singer it just gets on my nervous when her music's played over and over and over again).**
But anyway when we were driving home from Wales, listening to Radio One (I'd noramally listen to Dune or Rock FM*** but whatever) and this song came on and the chorus was really nice. And the voice in my head went, 'Right remember the lyrics because the presenter isn't going to say the name of the song'
So I memoried the lyrics.
Then 5 minutes later I forgot them.
But then about 20 minutes ago I remembered some of the chorus ("Light up, Light up")
So then I googled it.
And up came Snow Patrol****
And as soon as I saw the words "Snow Patrol" I thought, "But they're male!" (I had been listening to a female singer).
Then my mind went blank.
And then a little voice in my head just said, "It's sung by Leona Lewis isin't it"
And a second voice just went, "Yep" in his smug little way. *****
Well, I forgot what my point was so here's the song:

Anyway, me and zotlot our working on the best story ever, it's going to rock! (THE FORTH WALL WILL BE DESTROYED!!!!!!) Ninja Squirrels and talking toasters galore!

Okay, I think that's my cue to go now.

*Well technically it was stuck to a lamp which hung from the ceiling…Keeping in mind I live in aone of those tall Victorian houses.
** Popular things suck, (What was it again? We go to parties just so we can ruin them? Argh, I forgot)
*** If Rock FM actually played Rock Music
**** And Strangely enough I had been listening to that song with Helena the week before
***** The men in white coats would just like me to tell you, "Don't bother calling; we alreay know"

How to Fly: Throw Yourself at the Ground and Miss

  • Mood: Smiley
  • Music: Fall Out Boy
  • Reading: Ophelia / Memnoch the Devil / Chosen / The Other Boleyn Girl / Jaqueline Wilson Collection
Woooo! The Frenzy Starts in just 2 days!!!

It's gonna rock!!!!!!!
And of course, there's Paris and half-term to look forward to and Easer.
So April's looking like a good month, exept for the mock exams...and the real exams...
And my Birthday...which is good and bad.

Good: It's my Birthday what's not to like.
Bad: Creepy Gifts & the fact that it's on the first day we go back to school.

Oh yeah, creepy gifts....
Try imagining this dress:

but in this colour...

...and way to short.

Ah well, at least it's made of a nice material and I still got a nice purse and some headbands
See! Who says I don't look on the brightside of life:

Hehe, I love that movie! And this has just turned into a post with lots of movies and images so I might as well post some more:

Yeah...my parents have a lot to answer for since it was them who showed me that in the first place.
Anyway moving swiftly on...

Another thing I ment to write about was...
GoodSearch (http://www.goodsearch.com/)
Basically you chose a charity and everytime you search for something it donates aproximently 1.3 ¢ to charity. Which dosen't sound like a lot but if 500  people use the search bar 4 times a day they'd raise roughly $7300 dollars. You can also get loads of discounts at stores and stuff but I won't go into that.  Naturally, I had to choose The Office of Letter's and Light (the guys who run the Screnzy and NaNoWriMo) but there are loads of charities to pick from. So, yeah go make GoodSearch your new homepage. And man alive, this sounds like an advert...

Haha..."advert" begins with "a" and you know what else begins with "a"?
"Alphabet"
And talking about letters and the alphabet....

Which leads us onto...

Yeah I think this post is pretty much over with....
I've completly forgotten the other things I ment to write about. Ah well.

I'll just finish off with some fanfiction news so this post actually has an excuse to exist.

FF Update:
Banana Wars:
Chapter 4, posted. Chapter 5, halfway finished.
New Sydney: Chapter 16, posted.
Thanks for the Memories: Chapter 26,  posted.
Follow your Heart:  Chapter 11 posted, And I've got about 10 pages of solid notes which need to be magiclly transfomed into a legiable story.
Other: Still in my head.

Hello Little Peoples!

  • Mood: - Just ask Emma about Science
  • Music: Amy Grant
  • Reading: Memnoch the Devil / Superior Saturday / The Other Bolyen Girl

Ohhhh I have a lot of nothings to say such as:

WHERE IS MY SANDWITCH!!!!

Okay now that is out of my system I will get to the most important thingss first: BLACKHEART was just so COOL!!!!!!!!!! I won't write much about it incase anyones decides to read it (or is reading it as I type in the case of Emma). But yeah some bits made me laugh so much...! I don't even know if they were suppost to be funny but they were great anyway! And of course one thing I like about the series is that the Villians are really cool (Lola rocks...she remides me of myself and Emma agrees...besides the whole bathing in blood thing )

Another thing I wanted to talk about was school....mainly:

  • GCSEs: Sooooooo boooorrrinnnng...Had to maths exams on Monday (and I was suppost to get an A* but on the mock we did you needed 48/50 and I've alreadly lost AT LEAST 4 marks, and my teacher said if I get anything less than an A she'll be "very disappointed" so no pressure or anything....
I've also got a mock English tomorrow and 4(!) science exams on Friday.
  • Child Development: Honestly when you take child development you lose ALL scene of shame. *see next point* but anyway in class we needed to write a leaflet on "Looking after your child's teeth" and on the leaflet we had to include a short story, poem or song for a 2 year old about brushing their teeth....So naturally I wrote one about vampires.
  • English: Like I mentioned before Child Development makes you lose all scene of shame but it was in English I actually put this into practice. As part of are Speaking & Listening mark we had to giver a speech about anything, So I choose to do greek gods. Now anyone who knows me knows I'm VERY lazy so I decided to make the speech up on the spot...which is fine since I know a good amount about the topic...but anyway I managed to say this without thinking twice about it: "...and they cut off his testicles..." I was fine with it but it was funny because my teacher started scirming at that…and then of course we had parents evening that night…
  • Parents Evening: Parents evening was pretty good. My parents got to meet (almost) all my teachers. The good thing about this is that My teachers (and classmates) haven't yet realised the depths of my insanity to them I'm just a smart, polite girl who's just a little bit to quiet (Warning to the Wise: it's always the quiet ones)...We basiclly just went round hearing nice things like...Exept of course Miss D.
She didn't really say anything bad...but once again she "only just realised I was Jon's sister" (she realises this every lesson, btw) then she started talking about "Jon's fanclub of older girls" and flirting with my dad and saying I MUST  stay after school to do revision beacuse the exams were coming up (in May/June...considering I had a differnt exam the next week)and none of the other subjcts really mattered. Then she went on to say how much everyone hates RE and I'm to quiet and I need to revise and blah blah blach
But yeah I don't think she actaully knows who I am:
    (1) She didn't even no Megan's name
    (2) She forgot what yeargroup we were WHILE teaching us
    (3) "Oh, so your Jon's sister..."
    (4) "She's really quiet" (Haha, not in her lesson I sit by Meg, Hannah and Emma and we just talk throughout the whole lesson)
I was telling my mom about her and she started saying, "I bet when she looks in the mirror and goes 'who are you?' why are you copying me? stop it! why do you do everthing i do?'

Yeah anyway moving on....I'm now:

AN UNOFFICIALLY PUBLISHED AUTHOR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Woo! See my Mom's a photographer (http://corin23.deviantart.com/gallery/) and the gallery she had her work in sent her a letter asking if she's write a few paragraphs about what inspired her to take photographs. Which roughly translates to: "Heather, go write about why I like flowers"
And I pretty much said "Can I write it later; when do you need it for"
And her answer was, "Two hours ago"
So yeah I wrote that by just making up a bunch of junk about how "a flower catches my eye it is because that flower is diverse. Just like a human being, every flower in uniquely different. If you want a more specific answer, than I’d have to say it would be the variance of tones, shape and texture that particularly stand out. I take close-ups of the flower; the angle, zoom and lighting changing to enhance the particular flower’s individual characteristics. It is often at this point I am simply reminded how fragile life really is. When observing the flower that closely you come to appreciate it’s true beauty, the beauty of life its self. "
Yeah it was horrible but it still got sent because when i tried asking my mom about what inspired her she started quoting Lord of the Rings ("A flower is really fragile..life life standing on the edge of a knife one stray step and the fellowship will fail" and "My precious")
But yeah it somehow ended up that now me and my mom are going to do a collaberation together where she takes pictures and I write poety to go with the picture to incresses sales and whatnot.

Anyway, I finished Tale of the Body Thief!!!!!!!! Now I'm reading Memnoch the Devil!!!!! One thing I'm kind of annoyed with though is I know a few things about this book and the next one: Includding that 2 of the best characters go off and kill themselves!!!!!!!! Only I haven't got that far in the book so everytime someone memtions them I'm like "noooo....!"

Yeah anyway, speaking of books: I also ment to explain about Skylark's character meme on;y now I've forgotte what about it I was supoost to explain the only thing I could remember I was suppost to say was the fact that I'm now going to post most things like that here.

Othernews:
Been workig on Follow Your Heart
Going to Paris in APRIL and AUGUST
Have stupid cheerleading competition next tuesday

Nought better to do

  • Mood: Bored and Impatiant - Hense this post, I'll give a better explanation later
  • Music: Sweeney Todd
  • Reading: Tide of Terror / Lady Friday / P&P / (AND NOTHING BY ANNE RICE!)

Full name of Character: Skylark Dannett Costello-Cerulean, HIM
Reason, meaning or purpose behind the name: She was originally called Skye but royal names are normally longer than four letters so I had to choose between ‘Skyler and Skylark’ and I choose Skylark because it fit in with my worlds naming scheming-thing. Dannett was just off the top of my head, latterly I just thought of it this very second, she didn’t even have a middle name until now. Costello: Another one I thought of off the top of my head a few days ago. Cerulean: Just look up ‘Blue’ in a thesaurus.
Nickname: (The Empress) Jade, Skye and any royal ‘nicknames’ ie. Your majesty, princess, my lady, etc
Reason for nickname: Skye is just a shortened version of her first name. And Jade was the name she used when she joined the Emperor’s court. The rest are self explanatory.
Occupation/class: She was originally working as an apprentice for her adopted father until she discovered all the heir to the thrown business, and becomes a freedom fighter then queen and then empress.

Social class: Born royal, than middle, than royal, than upper, than royal (and also criminal, most of the time, too)

Physical Appearance
Age: The story pretty much starts when she’s 16 but ends when she’s about 30, give or take a couple of years.
How old they appear: See above
Eye Color: Blue (hence her last name)
Glasses or contacts? Nope, glasses aren’t that popular and contacts haven’t been invented, plus she has really good eye sight, as do all her race.
Hair color length and style: Snow white. Long and straight until she cuts it all off (shame she didn’t have the education to become a hairdresser or the brains to get it cut professionally). When it grows back she gets it styled in the ‘Empire fashion’ (think big, poofy and curly)
Weight and height: Tall and thin, normal within her race.
Type of body (build): Willowy, Stick-like (See above)
Skin tone and type: Peachy (haha…its got a double meaning)
Shape of face: Heart
Distinguishing marks:
Predominant feature: This question confuses me because it can mean to very different things. It could mean most common feature (as in the most normal one, in which case my answer is the number of limbs) or it could mean most important feature (in which case my answer is hair and skin colour).
Is s/he healthy? Pretty much on the physical side, although mentally…
Do they look healthy? Until she goes insane. And if you ignore her skin which would either be to pale (for humans) or to colourful (for whateverthatotherraceiscalled)

Favorites
Favorite color: Blue, Silver/White and possibly Gold
Least favorite, why? Brown I suppose, it’s a peasants colour, although why she would waste so much time on such trifle things as favourite colours, I do not know.
Music: Baroque
Least favorite music, why? Hip-Hop if it had been invented (Although zotlot may beg to differ)
Food: Chocolate (it was the only thing she had to cheer her up for 6 years after Robbin betrayed her).

Literature: Histories, especially about her own family. Or books about war tactics. Or better yet, why not combine them both?
Expressions:
Expletives (curse):
Mode of transport: Walking (as long as it’s not to long of a distance).

Personality
Are they a daredevil or cautious: Both, she will speak out and show her opinion but won’t put herself in any physical danger. Since you can fix a reputation (by murdering the witnesses of course) but it’s kind of hard to fix being dead.
Do they act the same alone as when with someone? See, this is another complicated question because the word ‘act’ implies it’s a pretence but she wouldn’t need to pretend if she was alone, now would she? But generally speaking she acts whatever way will give her the advantage which obviously varies depending on the circumstance. She generally does nothing when she’s alone except plotting which she might also do with someone else around because that’s all in her head.
Habits:
Drinks: Alcohol, almost any kind
How much: Lots, pretty much with every meal and then some.
Greatest Strength: Ambition
Greatest Weakness: Uhh…ambition? Love? Temperament? Big-headedness? Psychosis? Thirst for revenge? Do I have to choose?
Soft spot: Family. Apparently she has something against killing her own son or something.
Is their soft spot obvious, why/why not: Fairly, she doesn’t show it, but they’d think she was crazy(er) if she didn’t. Although wanting him to be king and not killing him when she had the chance might have given it away.
If not, how do they hide it: Just by being herself.
Biggest Vulnerability: Well she pretty much has the same weakness as everyone else…being stabbed, drowning, falling off a cliff…they’d all kill her. But if you want something specific she acts on emotions which is never a good thing when everyone you ever loved betrays you…

Background
Hometown: Loomwater (birthplace), Caudwell (grew up in)
Type of childhood: Boorish, she liked her adopted parents (although apparently not enough to stop them being killed), however she was still lonely since she had no friends and was considered an outcast.
First Memory:
Most important child hood event that still effects him/her: Being poisoned by her aunt and surviving.
Why? Because now her aunt wants to finish what she started.
Education: Worked as an apprentice at her (adopted-)father’s store.
Religion: Atheist (about the only one in the world)
Finances: When she’s royalty she’s rich when she’s not she’s poor

Family
Mother/Father: Azura/Danille
Siblings, How many, relationship with each: None

Attitude
Most at ease when: Her plans are going ‘to plan’
Most ill at ease when: Someone else is making the decisions for her (/going with the flow)
Priorities: REVENGE! Oh, and power would be nice too.
Philosophies: ‘I will have my vengeance’
How they feel about themselves: Thinks she deserved better
Why? No-one ever gave her a real chance and got rid of her as soon as she had served her usefulness.
If granted one wish what would it be, why? That she was Queen since she could kill everyone which would then be revenge. (So that’s a wish for revenge via being a queen). Why? Because she’s like that.

Traits
Optimist or pessimist? Why? Slightly Pessimist. Since she finds extreme optimism annoying. She has faith in herself, just not in others.
Introvert or extrovert? Why? Introvert. It’s not that she’s shy; it’s just that she doesn’t care.
Talents: Mathematics, reading (just the fact that she can read), tactics, flirting (in a really wired way), magic.
Extremely skilled at: Strategy planning. Being logical.
Extremely unskilled at: Cooking, sewing, physical fights, farming
Good characteristics: Uhh…..she….helped kill her aunt…that was a good thing…(also She kills indiscriminately, something really hard to find in villains these days…)
Character flaws: Everything else.
Mannerisms: Frowns a lot, pouts, eyes often show emotions.
Peculiarities: Appearance. Personality.
Biggest regret: Robbin marring someone else.
Minor regrets: Letting her adopted parents die (yes, this goes under minor)
Biggest accomplishment: Defeating her aunt, Marrying the emperor, World Domination
Minor accomplishments: Not murdering her sons
Darkest secret: Her identity.
Does anyone know? Yes and then no and then yes and then no and then yes. (she changes it a few times, but Robbin is generally he first to find out)
How did they find out: Someone tells them, they recognise her.

Self-perception
One word they would use to describe themselves: Calculating
One paragraph of how they would describe themselves: A clever but unlucky girl caught up in unfortunate circumstances who deserves to be queen by birthright and because she would be really good at it, and who’s action’s are totally justified!
What do they consider their best physical characteristic and why: Her Height since it gives her status on a psychological level.
The worst one? Why? Her appearance makes her stand out. aka She is not (fully) human and nor does she look like one.
Are they realistic assessments? Well ‘the worst one’ is, not so sure about ‘the best one’
If not, why not?
How they think others perceive them: Cold
What four things would they most like to change about themselves: Hair colour, eye colour, skin colour, and possibly figure. (Which could all just be changed at one by changing the answer to ‘origins’)
Why? So she doesn’t stand out as much.
If they were changed would they be the same person, why/why not: It’s debatable. I she didn’t have her usual appearance she might not have become empress and she also wouldn’t have had to go on the run , so she wouldn’t want revenge BUT she would probably still be an outcast and it wouldn’t necessarily change her personality if she still became queen.
Would changing of number 1 make them more happy? Why/why not: Well why would they want it if it wouldn’t make them happy? Although without at least one of the others it might not make a big difference.
Interaction with other people: Uses people around her to get what she wants
How do they relate to others:
How are they perceived by strangers: Strange, scary,
Wife/husband/lover: Robbin (lover), The Emperor (husband), Nico (lover)
What do they dislike most about them: Robbin: He’s an idiot and he married someone else.
The Emperor: He’s also an idiot (however he is a very rich idiot so not all is bad)
Nico: Apparently he thinks genocide is wrong, or something.

Goals:
Immediate: Not dying would be nice.
Long term: Starting a war, killing her enemies, killing her allies (not necessarily different people), revenge, taking over the world, etc etc…
How do they plan to accomplish them: Well they’d never work if we told you, now would they? (Well, actually they would, but why ruin all the fun?)
How will others be effected by this: Many, many people will die.

Problems/Crisis
How do they react in a crisis: If attacked physically they panic but otherwise will think logically about the problem
How do they face problems: By working around them or getting others to do the dirty work (or just killing anyone who gets ion her way)
Kind of problems they usually run into: Nobody trusting her since she’s kind of evil.
How they react to new problems: Think about them and planning the best way to get through/around them.
How they react to change: Dependable.

General
Favorite clothing, why: Gowns of silk and gold….Why? They show her status
Least favorite, why: Peasant’s clothing
Jewelry: Any (expensive) jewellery is good but Crowns are the best
Where do they live: The Palace (not feeling very creative with names today)
Where do they want to live: Loomwater
Spending habits, why: Spends a lot to show off and impress others, it’s her husbands money though, so it doesn’t really matter.
What do they do too much of, why: Clothes, Jewellery, Chocolate…because she likes those things
Most prized possession, why: While she does like to show off all her material possesions she doesn’t actually care that much about them…though thinking about it I suppose her crown (latterly and metaphorically) is important to her…oh, and birth control.
People they secretly admire, why: Robbin, he isn’t selfish and does good things for no reason, something she has trouble understanding.
Person they are most influenced by, why: The Political Leaders of her Country

Most important person in their life before story starts, why: Who they know Personally? Probably her adopted parents…If they don’t have to know them personally than Ira.
How do they spend the week just before the story starts: Working in her adopted father’s shop and lazing around at home.

Random Bits and Bobs

  • Mood: Random Hyper Impatiant Tired and Ill
  • Music: Evanescene
  • Reading: Tale of the Body Thief / P&P / How to write Damn Good Fiction / Novel Writing / The Other Boleyn Girl
First of all WOW, I actually updated two days IN A ROW! It's a miricle

Anyway the main reason I'm posting again is because while I talk a lot about my stories I never actaully post anything (unlike Wolf's and zotlot's awesome posts with stories: Concrete Jungle and Seelie-takes-a-Child)

So I supose I should post something....

A boulevard resting at the city’s limits. Now it is pitch black save the slight amount of moonlight allowed to filter between the tall office blocks to guide a weary traveller back to a more refined civilisation. Here the sound of cars is only a distant hum and streetlights only a echoed phantom that is a part of the inner city life that has no meaning in this world of the unimaginable.

This street is a dead end.

The walls and pavements were filled with cracks and hollows appearing as delicate silk spun into a never ending spider web and the curb and gutters lay upswept gathering waste in the corners in a multitude of vivid colours and the corpses of flowers in earthenware pots lay dead and unkempt as the buildings hemming the street around them fell into ruin where they stood. Not a soul could be seen to walk these gloomy roads of the night world. One could be forgiven for thinking these buildings were uninhabited.

This is the boulevard where every thing is possible.

If you were to stray down this street, here and now, and look up, perhaps to admire the glistening stars in the night time sky you may notice a solitary patch of artificial light coming from above. If you were to take a closer look you could observe that the shaft of light came from between to wooden boards nailed over a broken window and beyond that window was a room.

And in the room is a girl.

Hehe,  It sounds like my english coursework...or it would have if my english work had been any good
No, it's not finished and it dosen't have a name either but I used losts of funny posh words which is enough to make me want to post it here.

Oh and if your wondering why I mentioned Lemons yesterday it's probably because they're yellow like bananas or because I was listening to The Ultimate Showdown by Lemon Demon:

See I did say this was going to be a random post in my title, but anyway I'm suppost to be posting bits of stories....

THE LOST CHAPTER: DEAD HEARTS (From THANKS FOR THE MEMORIES)
Okay this is IMPORTANT, make sure you read this before you read what's posted below:
This contains MAJOR SPOILERS so don't read it if you don't want to ruin the story.
Secondly, I'm not going to explain it properly, if you have no idea what's going on you'll just have to wait for me to post the rest of the story on fanfiction.net (I'm up to chapter 24 and this should  be about chapter 33).
Thirdly, I do not own Lorcan, he is way to awesome for me to own, Justin Somper does insted.
Also, a lot of this is written in Irish this is because Lorcan is  Irish but I have included a translation thing at the end.
And lastly, THIS IS NOT FINISHED, I cut it off about halfway through, so there is still a reason to read the rest of the story on FF when I post it.

Dearest Catalina,

Goodbye is never an easy thing to say, but I don’t think I have a choice.
I know what you would say if you were here, or at least I thought I knew; but you see that’s the point, I’m not so sure anymore, a chuisle . I thought I knew you, but maybe I was wrong.

For you see, once upon a time my heart beat for you, you were the a chuisle mo chroí, pulse of my heart. Every breath I took was for you, but then you stole it from me, literally and otherwise , and my heart has ceased to beat. I don’t how, but it’s true. I should be dead, I am dead, but at the same time I’m still alive. But of course, you already know this don’t you?
Because you made me this way.
And I’ll always hate you for that.

I don’t know who I am anymore. Not the same person as before and certainly not human. I’ve already killed so many people, night after night, life after life; this never-ending hunger. Is milis dá ól é ach is searbh dá íoc é. Only a monster would kill the innocent, and that’s what I am a monster, a murbhheo , a demon. Because you wanted it and I have always done as my Lady commands, whatever the costs. Are you happy now, darling?

I hope so, I think it would kill me to see you cease to smile. And that is why we must never see each other again, and although it breaks my heart to say so, I know this is for the best.
You deserve to die, Catalina, even I won’t deny that. What you did can never be forgiven. Part of me, the part you created, would give anything to feel you soft lifeless body go limp in my arms. Ní íoctar as an bhuille nach mbuailtear but ní dhíolann dearmad fiacha.

I hate you.
I love you.
I’m not even sure I know the difference anymore.

A chuisle - My Pulse (My Love/My Darling)
A chuisle mo chroí - Pulse of My heart
Is milis dá ól é ach is searbh dá íoc é - It is a sweet drink but bitter to pay for
Murbhheo - The Living Dead
Ní íoctar as an bhuille nach mbuailtear - A blow not given isn't paid for
Ní dhíolann dearmad fiacha - A debt is still unpaid even if forgotten

LOL, I'm no good at this soppy stuff...
Though I supose it would be a bit sadder if you read the rest.

Anyway that was a 'lost chapter' from Thanks for the Memories' it wasn't suppost to be in the story but I *probably* will include it in the end. It's called Dead Hearts because that was the original name of the story before I changed it to Thanks for the Memories.

But anyway, like I said before this is a random post, so now it's time for a random  rant:

HONESTLY, people these days!
Has no one heard of metaphors and foreshadowing! I use it all the time and NO ONE can predict what's going to happen!
For example, in Thanks for the Memories (the above was what brought this up) Chapter 10: In the Garden....Lorcan (who I still don't own) says:  "I would give anything to be free and travel the world.” Dose that not make anyone the slightest bit supisious?

Or how about the song it's named after, not one person mentioned that:
"Been looking forward to the future,
But my eyesight is going bad,
And this crystal ball.
It's always cloudy except for,
When you look into the past."

(Ps. I don't own that either. It belongs to Fall Out Boy)
I even included it in the first chapter. Okay I no I'm just being freaky but this is how my mind works:
"Been looking forward to the future,  (Grace has just returned; they should be happy)
But my eyesight is going bad,  (He's going blind)
And this crystal ball. (Unveils of secrets; shows past)
It's always cloudy except for, (Secrets are cloudy or uncertain)
When you look into the past." (She winds up going back in time to unveil secrets)
See you don't even have to read the story to figure it out.

And Clare has "coal-black hair was curled in sausage-like ringlets unlike the rest of her sibling’s straight hair" This shows she is "unlike"  the rest of her family. Which could suggest that they are not natural therfore she spends a lot of time on her apperance showing she is a vain person. It also makes you think who else has Curly hair...
"She wore a white, floral bonnet an carried a parasol; an exact copy of Catalina"
You can figure the rest of this one out yourself.

I know a lot of these aren't obvius ("The wind whistled round the old house sounding like a banshee’s cry." -and a banshee in Gaelic folklore, signals that somebody in the household is going to die).
but how about this one (it's not even that hidden):
“Miss. Tempest may I present to you Lady Catalina de Bánffy, Marchioness of Mureş, and my fiancée.”
it tells you 3 things:
1) He's engaged (duh)
2) She is a Marchioness (therefore holds a titlte and is most likely rich)
3) She is from Mureş (which anyone could look up and find is right in the middle of Translvania)

Okay, I'll stop now....
This is begining to sound more like an english essay than a rant. But my point was that people should read things for carefully, in fact if your good at it you can easily predict who's going to die in Harry Potter (eg. From HP " I dare not, Headmaster! If I join the table, we shall be thirteen! Nothing could be more unlucky! Never forget that when thirteen dine together, the first to rise will be the first to die!"  You'll never guess who dies! Actually she does this one a few times...see here for more info)

Anyway... (man, I use that word a lot)
(And if you say the above line as 'dot dot dot' insted of '...' it rhymes)
I'm writing a short story at the mo, it's called 'Rag Woman'
And....Ummm...I'm just going to go now....
See ya,

Only 8 days, 9 hours, 19 minutes and 12 seconds until Blackheart!!!

"Life is for Living" (and yet we all choose death in the end...go figure)

  • Mood:
  • Music: SUPERHERO Script Soundtrack (Preperation for Sccrip Frenzy 2009)
  • Reading: The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time / The Other Boleyn Girl / Novel Writing / Tale of the Body Thief / How to Write Damn Good Fiction / P&P / Nightmare Accademy
Valentine what...? I celebrate Pie Day Friday

Yep, it was Pie Day Friday a week ago today.   It's not quite national yet, but don't worry it will be, oh,  it will be...*cue for evil laughter*
The next Pie Day Friday is on the 12th of February 2009, make sure to add that to your calender folks!

Unlike most single people my age I have nothing agaist Valentines day. Mainly because my parents treat it like easter I got a big bag full of sweets, a £5 note and 2 (cheasy horror) DVDs. So yeah I don't see what's not to like....

Getting onto a new topic (or rather and old one) I'm still ill...i think this is the third week or maybe the forth, i forget and I haven't been able to stop coughing over the past couple of days, me and zotlot think it must be "Evil Overlord's Maniacal Laughter Cough" (or at least I think that was the name of it)/

Anyway even though I'm still ill I'm still having a good half term since I got to spend 3 hours in the library while my mom was at work and then we went again (to a diffent library) on thursday right before I had to get my blood taken. And we also went to some book shops and I bought a bunch of new books  ....books...books...books...
AND VAMPIRATES COMES OUT IN JUST 9 DAYS 2 HOURS 43 MINUTES AND 27 SECONDS *twitchtwitch*  Not that I'm counting or anything

But yeah, I'm trying to distract myself until then, sooo....
SKYE & ROBBIN - I know the ending!!!!!!!!!!!!! YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The last few ideas for S&R have suprised even myself since I had no idea what was going to happen but yeah, apperinty Robbin's going to die in the thrid book (and that's if there's 4 or more books). Which means Skye's left alone with.....

....that guy

- LOL, I'm in a strange mood I'm guessing there will be only a select few who will actually get why thats a big deal-

But don't worry Skye dies too.

I've actually figured out that my S&R novels have some sort of pattern (not including the first one since I have no idea what happens in thats - I like to work backwards insted)

Book 2:
Main (POV) Characters:

Ira
Robbin
Skye
Arrow
(this in the order there POV's are first told)

Book 3:
Main (POV) Characters:
Ira  Ambrose
Robbin
Skye
Arrow

Book 4:
Main (POV) Characters:
Ira  Ambrose
Robbin Rose
Skye
Arrow

And then, of course, Skye dies...

Ira  Ambrose
Robbin Rose
Skye
Arrow

Gee, I wonder who's next

Yeah I actually forgot what I was talking about there...Uh New topic?
Lemons.
Lemons are good.

Okay, next?
SUPERHERO
SUPERHERO must always be written in capital letters otherwise it would just be "Superhero" which isn't heroic  enough. I've been working on the soundtrack in preperation for script frenzy because I'm sad like that (but strangely enough it does help me; a lot in fact) I'll post it here when I'm done.

And
Gothic Lullabies

Insomnia:  Miss.(Emalia) Fortune:

These are definetly NOT the finished versions, but I'm still kinda proud of them espesily considering I didn't use a mouse (much less a tablet!).

Hehe, I'm going to go now..I have to run up and down the stairs now, it's a hobby of mine even though I've been banned from doing it. Becasue my mom dosen't like the sound when I jump the second half of the stairs and my dad does the baby elephant walk:

Haha, the above paragraph didn't even make sense
Actually now that I think about it none of it did..

Only 9 Days 'til Blackheart!
(or 9 days, 1 hour, 46 minutes and 21 seconds if you want to be a bit more specific)
